I am trained as a scientist, receiving an M.D., MA. in physiology, and a PH.D in Surgery. After ten years of teaching in the Dept. of Surgery at the University of Minnesota, I went into Private Practice in General Surgery for 20 years. Before retiring from Medicine, I worked with Celine Charpentier at the College of St.Catherine in St. Paul. Northern Clay Center also provided additional technical experience. I have been working full time as a potter since 1994. My first Invitational Two Person show took place at the Dorothy Berge Gallery in l999.
